There are several business management systems out there. Systems that claim to make your workflow easier, save you time, and money. But are they worth the monthly cost? Is the time needed to adopt and manage the system a good use of your day?
Rock Paper Coin may be one of the newer business systems on the block – it took over 2 years to develop AND it was created by planners – planners who tried all the other systems out there – and wanted something better. Here’s how and why RPC stands above the rest:
First and foremost, it’s simple.
Initial signup takes less than 2 minutes. Sending your first contract or invoice takes another 2. The average wedding planner isn’t interested in spending hours setting up and managing a business system. The thought of it alone is stressful! Afterall, clients book because of you – your brand, years of experience, style, expertise, and reputation. Spend less time at your computer and more time face to face (virtually, that is!) with your clients.

RPC has unique features for planners.
Since our founders are planners, there are of course unique features designed specifically for planners:
3rd Party Collaborations
This is the core of the RPC platform. It solves what we think is one of the biggest pain points for planners: not being in the loop on client documents and payments. With RPC, you are informed when your client’s vendors (florist, photographer, baker, etc) send contracts and invoices – and when your client takes action on them! This saves time and tons of back and forth checking on the status of important items!

Planner Permissions
With RPC, planners have a little extra control! Clients may grant their planner permission to:
- Accept connection requests on their behalf – this allows planners to accept requests from vendors to connect with their clients. Once vendors are connected to clients, they can send contracts, invoices, and process payments. Enabling planners to accept requests moves the process along quickly and efficiently for everyone!
- Sign contracts – some clients trust their planner to review and sign contracts on their behalf. Afterall, planners are more familiar with the terms and conditions of event services contracts and know specific items to look for. When planners sign, they use “on behalf of” in the signature so that everyone is aware. Don’t worry–it is all legally sound and you are not on the hook for anything. If your client prefers to sign themselves, no problem! The default is for planners to “approve”, which allows you to simply review contracts and indicate your approval.
- Pay invoices – when clients sign up on RPC, they securely upload their payment methods to be stored for future payments. They can upload as many cards or bank accounts as they would like and give them each a nickname. When invoices become due, planners can select the appropriate payment (only seeing the last 4 digits) so they can take this burden off clients. Clients still receive the receipts and can review anytime. And since planners don’t have access to the full payment details, there is no worry about security. Let’s just say it’s safer than taking credit card numbers over the phone and writing on sticky notes!

RPC is affordable.
We know that now more than ever, small businesses are trying to keep operating costs down. With weddings and events being cancelled or postponed on a massive scale, planners are faced with unprecedented challenges. RPC is committed to providing a superior platform with a low price tag. That’s not going to change.
- We have a limited number of beta subscriptions left so jump on board now! Beta members get a free membership for 1-year. Even better–if you are one of our first 1,000 to sign up you get a lifetime membership for FREE! Sign up today!
- Subscription fees after the beta are still lower than the other systems out there. For about $21/month, planners have access to 100% of our features and no limit to the number of users or events you manage on RPC. There are no tiers or tricks. Check out our price tag page for more information.
